All E Prep students receive instruction in entrepreneurship based on the curriculum of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. During their time at E Prep, students learn to identify a business opportunity, write a business plan, and present that plan through PowerPoint presentations. Students also engage with community volunteers through field trips to local businesses and coaching sessions from successful entrepreneurs. Every student takes one trimester of entrepreneurship each year, culminating with the 8th Grade Business Plan Competition, where students present their business plan to a panel of business leaders. By offering the program each year, students are exposed to more advanced topics of the entrepreneurship curriculum.
